There’s a lot going on at Los Sueños Marriot, making it a great location for weddings. The property is set on 1,100 acres of land and offers a variety of accommodations, activities, and amenities.
The area is best known as the “Billfish Capital of the World”, drawing fishermen from around the globe looking to catch a sailfish, marlin, tuna, or mahi-mahi. Some of those fish are catch-and-release only, but others you can take back with you and have a private chef or one of the area’s restaurants prepare you a freshly-caught feast!
Of course, fishing isn’t all there is to do at Los Sueños. The beautiful La Iguana 18-hole golf course gently rolls over the tropical landscape behind the marina. Designed by the famous Ted Robinson, the naturally challenging course manages to appeal to players of all skill levels. The course has been landscaped with exotic plants native to the area and is home to over 150 species of birds and other wildlife.
Down in the Marina village, you can find an array of shops, restaurants, and tour operators that will make your stay at Los Sueños better than you can imagine.
The property is also home to a deluxe 4.6-acre oceanfront beach club. This area with its freeform swimming pool, swim-up bar, al-fresco restaurant, and other amenities is off-limits to the general public but can be accessed by those who rent one of the luxurious condos on the property.

The Marriott hotel, located just steps from the gorgeous beach Playa Herradura, provides spectacular accommodations. Choose from a variety of room styles including adults-only swim-up rooms, balconies with spectacular ocean views, or a spacious luxury suite. Most rooms feature a ridiculously relaxing hammock where you can relax and let your dreams sweep you away.

Certified wedding planners handle all the details. You can work closely with the planner to design the wedding of your dreams or you can give them a general idea of what you want and let them handle it all. These professionals literally take all the stress out of wedding planning!

There are 18 event spaces of various shapes and sizes at the hotel, however, beach ceremonies tend to be popular. The hotel is located right on the stunning Playa Herradura so it isn’t hard to see why.

The luscious Marina Garden can host up to 350 people and is a popular reception space for those seeking a relaxed vibe. To make things a bit fancier, couples can choose the stunning Carara Ballroom for their reception space. It can be set up either as a cocktail hour-type event space or a full-on sit-down dinner with extravagant decorations that make a statement.
