A Seaside Wedding in Paradise: Playa del Coco Celebration

After tying the knot virtually during the height of the pandemic, Tyler and Alex finally celebrated their love with an intimate destination elopement with just their immediate families in the picturesque Playa del Coco, Costa Rica. Their story is a testament to the power of love transcending borders and circumstances, as they originally married online in November 2022 while living in different countries.

The couple chose the stunning Villa Malinche Palace as their wedding venue, where they hosted their closest family and friends – an intimate gathering of just 10 guests. The morning started with scattered showers, but began to clear just as the ceremony approached.

Tyler in his crisp white navy uniform, waited by the villa’s infinity pool for the First Look. These quiet moments before the ceremony allowed them to share their excitement and joy privately, with the pool and palm trees as the backdrop.

The ceremony itself was held on the villa’s elevated deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Small fishing boats dotted the horizon, creating a quintessential Costa Rican coastal scene.

Following the ceremony, the entire wedding made their way down to the beach – a must-have location for Alex’s dream wedding photos. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect, with the post-rain clouds creating dramatic skies.

The wedding couple then took a romantic walk along the shore of Playa del Coco, resulting in some great emotions.

In just two hours, we managed to document the intimate getting ready scenes at Villa Malinche Palace to the emotional ceremony, heartwarming family portraits, and romantic couple photographs on the beach. This wedding proved that sometimes the most beautiful celebrations are the most intimate ones, where every moment can be savored and every person present plays a significant role in the couple’s story.
