Honeymoon Session at Playa Cabuyal
Adrianna and Jalen got married in the States, but they wanted a honeymoon session in Costa Rica.
Adrianna and Jalen were staying at Planet Hollywood in Guanacaste, so we went to the nearby beach — Playa Cabuyal.
Playa Cabuyal is an amazing beach, and in the morning we had it to ourselves, except for a couple cute beach dogs.
Playa Cabuyal is a much better option for photos than the beach at Planet Hollywood. The hotel beach looks out into Culebra Bay, so you have land on the other side. Cabuyal faces open ocean, and you also get a nice treeline and some great rocks, so there is a lot of variety in one session. On a clear morning you can even see Witch’s Rock if you look down the beach to the north.
We had the whole beach to ourselves that morning. A couple of beach dogs were running around having the time of their lives, so I got one shot with them in the foreground and then framed them out for the rest of the session.
