Ruby and Brian | Raindrops & Romance: An Unforgettable Celebration

When tropical rain showers arrived during Ruby and Brian’s Costa Rica ceremony, their guests raised a sea of umbrellas, creating an unexpectedly beautiful scene. The half-hour ceremony became even more intimate as everyone gathered closer together, sharing umbrellas and smiles.

The day started with meaningful moments. Ruby shared her first look with her parents rather than Brian, while in a private gathering, Brian and his siblings received memorial pins to honor their deceased parents. Though the couple chose not to see each other before the ceremony, they found a sweet compromise – holding hands while standing on opposite sides of different walls.

Ruby stunned in three different dresses throughout the day – one each for the ceremony, dancing, and reception. The morning preparations were filled with excitement as she and her bridesmaids got ready in their robes. The next day, we headed to Nauyaca Falls – one of Costa Rica’s most impressive waterfalls – for a day-after session. The newlyweds were relaxed and natural in front of this stunning backdrop, giving us the chance to capture some incredible shots without the timeline pressure of the wedding day.

Ruby and Brian’s wedding showed that even unexpected rain can’t dampen the joy of two people who are meant to be together. Their positive attitude and easy-going nature turned what could have been a weather challenge into one of the most memorable parts of their celebration.
