Rosa and Joseph: A Beach and Waterfall Elopement
I recently photographed Rosa and Joseph’s elopement at two stunning locations: a remote fishing beach and a secluded waterfall. We had the beach to ourselves for the ceremony which made for a very intimate celebration.
We started the day at their Villa in the small town of Uvita. There they had their first look surrounded by the jungle.
Rosa wore two distinct flower crowns throughout the day. For the beach ceremony, she chose a white all rose crown that perfectly matched the flower arch on the sand. The morning light and ocean breeze created perfect conditions for photos as they exchanged their vows with waves gently breaking behind them.
After capturing some portraits on the beach, we drove just 5 minute to a hidden waterfall. Here, Rosa changed into her second flower crown – a vibrant orange creation . The orange crown created a stunning contrast against the falling water and lush greenery.
The day perfectly balanced the peaceful energy of the morning beach ceremony with the dramatic backdrop of the waterfall session. Rosa and Joseph wanted their elopement to feel both intimate and adventurous, and these two locations delivered exactly that.
Here is the wedding video to see some behind the scenes from that morning.
