Lexi and Aleric

Aleric had gotten in touch with me about planning a special Costa Rica engagement proposal to his girlfriend Lexi.

They were staying at Riu Guanacaste, but he wanted to have the proposal at a more intimate beach. I suggested Playa Penca, which is a few beaches over, and helped them set up transport with a van.

Playa Penca is a beautiful beach not far from Catalinas. There is always less people there, and if you get there early enough you can have the beach to yourselves.

Also the waves are very calm here, so a great place to spend the day.

After the proposal we were able to take a walk on the beach and get some great portraits of them together, now that they were glowing from the proposal.

Aleric had one more surprise planned for Lexi. He had planned for a catered picnic right on the beach. As this is kind of a remote beach, this was a great way for them to spend the morning and have brunch and champagne to celebrate this huge event in their lives.
