Justine and Nick decided to have an intimate elopement in Costa Rica. They are adventurous and wanted a one of a kind location.
Nauyaca Waterfalls turned out to be the perfect ceremony location. I photograph at the falls all the time and know the staff well. So when I asked them if we could stay late while no one else was at the waterfalls, they told us no problem.
The afternoon light creeping in over the trees was amazing, and it was so nice that no one else was around during the ceremony.
We started the day taking the truck down to the waterfall. Justine and Nick were already dressed, so we just needed to set them up for the ceremony and have Justine walk down the “aisle”.
After the ceremony we had plenty of time to explore the upper and lower falls at Nauyaca. With no one else at the waterfalls we had an amazing ceremony and photographed candid moments afterwards.
