Emily and Pete are world travellers, but still had never been to Costa Rica.
So they decided to come from England and have an intimate elopement in Dominicalito.
They were staying at Makanda Hotel in Manuel Antonio, so Dominicalito was a perfect location to be able to capture an out of the way beach, and a nearby waterfall.
We started the day with some Getting Ready photography coverage, and on the walk out to the car we captured some portraits in the gardens in Makanda.
We had the beach to ourselves for the ceremony with the officiant Marcelo, and then we explored the beach and rocks.
Next we headed out to the waterfall Pozo Azul. It is a great medium size waterfall and swimming hole, just 5 minutes from the beach.
Emily and Pete even got in the water for some unforgettable portraits.
