Sailboat Engagement Proposal in Costa Rica

Sergey got in touch with me to photograph his surprise proposal in Playas del Coco, Guanacaste Costa Rica.

He had planned a sunset excursion on the beautiful Sea Bird Sailboat. He had everything all set including his cover story, he just needed someone to capture the real moment and emotions of him getting down on one knee.

The Sea bird had a smaller boat that picked me up, and brought me out to the sailboat, under the pretenses I was photographing a bunch of boats that day. When I was up by the mast, Sergey proposed and we captured Cassidy’s reaction.

After the proposal, they celebrated with some Champagne the Sea Bird had provided. Then we got to explore the sailboat and document their post proposal glow, ending with a photograph of the couple and the whole crew.
