Your shoes are another important thing to pick out well ahead of time and bring with you. Personally, I’ve never teetered around in high heels, but even so, I don’t recommend it on the beach. If your ceremony and reception will all take place in a venue indoors, you might be able to get away with heels if you have your heart set on them.

However, from what I’ve seen most beach brides prefer to stick with flat sandals. Some forego shoes altogether and opt for an elegant pair of barefoot sandals instead to decorate their feet yet still enjoy the sand between their toes!
