Pick out your jewelry well ahead of time and bring it with you. I don’t recommend waiting until you get here to pick something “beachy” or “tropical” from a souvenir shop. You never know what you’ll find and you don’t need that kind of stress in your life. 

It also might be a good idea to bring it in your carry-on — you can never be too cautious.
