A Simple Wedding in Costa Rica

Recently I shot a one-hour elopement here in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. The wedding was held at Playitas beach, the far end of the main beach where it’s a little more “tranquilo” and perfect for a ceremony and some portraits.

The couple decided to have the ceremony a few hours before sunset as it had been raining later in the afternoon. Luckily, the cloud covering was in such a way that we had some amazing light for the portraits. It was an intense, even light, and made for some great reflections as the tide came in.

It’s hard to go wrong when taking pictures on this beach, but this particular day was even more spectacular!
