Elopements: A Special Kind of Wedding Ceremony
Elopements: A Special Kind of Wedding Ceremony
Eileen and Justin had a beautiful wedding ceremony with just the two of them, at the private beach at Arenas del Mar Hotel last month. I think elopements are so special. Just the two of you, without any distractions, enjoying your special day.
We started the day with a few photos of Eileen getting ready in the room before the ceremony. I was then able to run down to the beach and get a few shots of Justin waiting on the beach. It turned out to be a bright sunny day, and we were able to get a spot on the beach far away from all the other guests, which added to the intimacy.
It was an emotional ceremony as Eileen and Justin said their handwritten vows to each other. Afterward, they shared such a moment of happiness when they took a moment to look at their legal certificate. It was great; I’ve never seen such a reaction.
As it was high tide, we couldn’t get on some of the rocks, but we had enough time to walk along the beach and get some interesting photos in the almond trees. As we were finishing up, the rains came in to cool down the afternoon.
The wedding planner for this gorgeous wedding was the awesome Meghan from Our Costa Rica Wedding.
