A Beautiful Beach Wedding in Costa Rica

Last month was the month to shoot good friends weddings!  I’ve known Alvaro for the ten years I’ve been in Costa Rica.  We both worked at the same canopy company back in the day, and we were the two rookies as everyone else had been working there their whole lives it seemed.

Since then Alvaro had met his future wife Ashley and moved to the States.  Needless to say, I was super excited to be the photographer for Ashley and Alvaro’s destination wedding here in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica.

The wedding ceremony was held on the main beach with 40 of Ashley and Alvaro’s closest friends and family.  It was a sweet and tender ceremony.

Afterward, we had just enough time for family portraits, and then a portrait session for just Ashley and Alvaro.  The weather held up, and we went for a walk down the beach and tried to find interesting things for the two of them to do, while I just sat back and shot.  It was a beautiful day, and such a great idea celebrating the ceremony in Manuel Antonio so that Ashley and Alvaro could show off their old stomping ground to their families and friends.
